Mt. Rainier Classic
Ravensdale Washington
May 2005
What a beautiful spring day -
perfect weather for a dog
show.
It rained early, then cleared up,
keeping everything
cool but not soggy!
This was the first show that
we had 3 dogs,
Mysteria (her first time in the
ring since whelping her
pups),
Tiger Lily, and Myst's puppy,
Trajan,
in his show debut.
A HUGE thank you to our
photographers,
Austin
Sankey and Adam
Earnhardt,
without which no pictures would
have been taken.
(Hey, 3 dogs is a lot to for me
to manage!)
We started the day with
Mysteria taking
Winners Bitch and Best Of
Opposite Sex!
This was the major she needed to
complete her
ICCF Championship!
Way To Go, Jesse &
Myst!!!
Here we see another Winners
Bitch competition, featuring
Jeff Sankey with Isabella, Jesse
Dunn with Tiger Lily,
and Leslee Shonert handling
Mysteria.
(Thanks Leslee for covering my
butt!)
And here we see Arturo,
patiently waiting for his turn in
the ring.
Look how this dog has filled out.
Wow!
Another competition, with
Isabella and
Tiger Lily in their classes.
Isabella took Reserve Winners
Bitch 3 times!
Bella Rosa's Trajan made his
show debut this weekend.
We expected him to soldier right
around the ring,
as he has been doing at home.
But at just 12 weeks, the ring
proved
rather intimidating for him.
Here is our Trajan, running
OUT of the ring.
Silly puppy!
At the break - it's all about
having fun for us!
Our motto: The More Corsos, The
Merrier!
Tiger Lily vigilantly watches
over her boys...
as Arturo watches over
her!
Arturo took Best Of Breed in
Show #3,
over 5 other beautiful corsos,
including this dog, Benicio.
Back to the females.
Here is Tiger Lily and
Isabella.
Tiger Lily took Best Of Breed
Junior Puppy 4 times,
then went on for WInner's Bitch
& Best Of Opposite Sex
in Show #3 under Brad's
handling!
Yeehaw Bradley!!!.
But the BIG NEWS was Show
#4,
where Tiger Lily went on to
take
BEST IN SHOW with Jesse!
Way To Go! You Guys Rock!!!
Here's is beautiful Taylor,
consoling Trajan after his
ordeal in the ring. Taylor was
definately smitten by the show
bug,
and I daresay it won't be too
long before we see her
in a junior handling class...
or a magazine!
(She sure looks like a future
model to me.)
At the end of the day, it's
not about who takes home the most
ribbons...
Oh, who are we kidding. Admit
it, guys! It's great to win!
Of course, hanging out with
all our friends
(human and canine) is the very
best part of all!
