We have a young female Cane
Corso that is in need of a new
forever home.
Bella Mia is a black brindle
corso. She was found in Vancouver
Washington and turned into the
local shelter. They had her
listed as a Neopolitan Mastiff.
Luckily for Bella Mia, Ellena of
Pacific NW Pitbull Rescue saw
her, knew what she was and called
us. (Thanks so much Ellena!)
(Here's Ellena with Bella Mia
at Animal Control.)
Bella Mia is a very sweet and
loving girl. Her foster mom has
been teaching her basic obedience
and manners, and socializing her
with other dogs. She reports that
Bella Mia is smart and wants to
learn! (Thank god for dog foster
parents!)
Bella Mia is sweet with people
and very friendly with other
dogs. She is a big puppy who
really wants to play!
Bella Mia has a skin condition
that has caused her to loose some
fur. However, she just had a
negative skin scraping, so our
vet thinks this may be a food
allergy or stress related. (We
don't know how long she has been
on the street.) With premium
food, a secure home and good
bathing regime, we believe she
will fully recover.
If you would like to learn
more about Bella Mia, drop us an
email or give us a call. Perhaps
she is the dog for you!
UPDATE
March 28th 2007
We've learned more about Bella
Mia. She is a pure bred Cane
Corso and her registered name is
'Rogue'. She was born January
16th, 2006, so she is only 14
months of age. Our vet is
treating her for the skin
condition and her overall health
is starting to improve. She has
been hanging out at the dog park
with her foster mother, Lis. She
loves everyone! We feel that
Bella Mia would be a great family
dog.
UPDATE APRIL 2007
Bella Mia has been adopted and
is now in her new forever home!
She found a loving family in
Portland Oregon and has settled
in very nicely!
Here is Mia with her new best
friends - Mark, his son Ian, and
Jackson the Akita! Mark says
Jackson and Mia just play all
day!!!
