Are you thinking about a Cane
Corso, but don't want all the
hassles of raising a dog through
puppyhood? Perhaps rescuing an
adult dog would be more your
style.
As the Corso has become more
popular, some are inevitably
showing up in shelters across the
country. Many of these dogs have
been neglected, or even abused.
Some were surrendered by their
owners due to moving or a change
in their circumstances. And some
are dogs who were simply not
understood by their owners.
Remember, the Cane Corso is a
dominant dog, and definately not
the dog for everyone. Even so,
many corsos are very sensitive
and require an owner who can
balance their need for firm
leadership with understanding and
compassion.
Rescuing a Cane Corso can be
an extremely rewarding
experience. You certainly won't
find a more grateful friend. Take
a look. This might be right up
your alley!
Below is 'Bella', a Cane Corso
rescue, with her new friend, our
own Sweet Mystery.
Bella is a very beautiful
corso with natural ears and tail,
indicating that she may have been
a european import. She is strong,
healthy and, best of all, has a
wonderful temperament.
Luckily, Bella found a loving
family that understood and
appreciated the unique corso
personality, and they have
rescued her. As you can see,
Bella is one very happy dog.
Hurray to this wonderful family
for giving Bella that second
chance in life!
If this kind of happy ending
appeals to you, then we want to
