"Testimonial of Bella Rosa’s Zen by Nick Treadwell"
We want our dogs to be well rounded. To be of excellent type, sound in disposition, agile of mind and body, to be excellent athletes and formidable protectors. Rarely do we get a dog that has it all. Rarely does a breeder produce such a dog either. Bella Rosa can. My boy Zen is the soundest most well rounded dog I have owned. I have had 2 Rottweilers and 1 other Cane Corso. I have loved them all. Though all were lacking. Zen is without any hesitation the most awesome of these dogs. He has taught me never to underestimate his ability to learn, adapt to changing situations and physical prowess. He has excellent drive both defensive and prey all while remaining a sound companion. You can have a great protection dog at the same time have a dog that is suitable for family life. Bella Rosa proves this. I have two children eight and four years old. I trust Zen to give his all in defensive of me and my family. He can go from family pet to protector quickly and without hesitation. What more could you ask for? In my opinion nothing. In summation Virginia can get you a great dog. It is up to the owner to bring the dog to his or her utmost inherent potential. Believe me when I say it is worth it!
NOTE: Click here for a slide show of Zen at 12 months of age. This is an excellent example of what a dedicated owner, knowledgable trainer, and great dog can do together.
Apollo has been a real joy to all of us, even the cat. He's so funny as well as smart, and growing so fast.
Gin, we just want to say thanks for doing such a great job with your Corso's. Apollo will start his training soon. I'll keep you posted on his progress & will be visiting you soon.
Thanks again,

Hello Virginia,
Thanks for checking in on us and Marley. Yes, we just finished our puppy kindergarten class and Marley passed with flying colors! Wow she sure is an amazing dog, very intelligent. The trainers loved her personality and temperment. We gave them your website because she was impressed with her. Marley is now 45 pounds and growing everyday. She has been so much fun to have around. She absolutely loves the water, sand and running around and playing with the kids. She does very well with other dogs. She is protective already when new people come around until she gets the feel that we are ok with them. She loves to be held, which is getting harder the bigger she gets and loves to lay with us on the couches. She is very particular about her diet and only likes certain treats...she definitely is the princess here!

Hey Virginia,
David and I had puppy class with Zoe last night. After class we met with the Teacher and she said Zoe is doing better than all others in her class, gold star and her manner is so nice.
We wanted you to know what a great young lady she is becoming. She loves her Dad (a total daddy’s girl) and is so well behaved around humans & kids, other dogs and other animals.
She is the star pupil but the Teacher told us not to tell any of the other parents – hee hee hee!
Much love and talk to you soon!
Sarah
Why A CC? - You and your son Bradley are the reason we want a Bella Rosa puppy. You have beautiful dogs but more than that we believe in you and your commitment to your dogs. I know that you love them immensely and devote yourself to their health and happiness. You work to promote your breed and you are loving responsible and committed. I love that you feed raw it makes sense and shows that you are willing to do something different for the health of your dogs.

Hi Gin,
Fig's big! We weighed him about a month ago and the big love was 82lbs! We're still feeding exclusively raw food from Darwins (i think i sent you their info a while back) and he LOVES his food! He also just graduated from intermediate puppy class at Ahimsa dog training school last night, 1st in his class (record times/behaviors in all of his skills)!! He's so smart, attentive, obdediant, and easy to train (makes us look like pros!). Next step is his cainine good citizen training and testing!

Hi Virginia,
Just a short note to say Massimo is thriving. He is a happy boy!
He is starting puppy school next week @ our lake house.
He loves to swim and chew sticks.
He is a wonderful addition to the family with such a lovely disposition. He has learned to go up and down stairs without hesitating and loves to play with our cocker spaniel Angus and our son Andrew's cane corso Bacchus who is 3 weeks older than himself.
Thanks again for breeding such lovely dogs.
I've enclosed a few photo's of our Massimo with his favourite yellow blanket that you gave him.
Take care and I will send updates regularly.
regards,
Barb/Tony Holler
Here are pics of Nikko. He is so gorgeous!!!
Virginia,
Nikko did wonderfully last night, his sleep number is 50!!!
Some pics enclosed, he has cried some if you leave him in a room alone, he obviously misses you and Brad and his siblings! Thanks for your help, he is wonderful, Toni
"We can really see what a great dog she is going to be, Hero is really eager to please and very sweet. She really loves children, and loves to cuddle, her favorite place to camp out is right in front of our bedroom heater."
"I really think I want to show her, everyone tells me what a good looking dog she is, but I am pretty clueless on how to do it. I am also wanting to look into therapy work for her. Lynn thought she had a great temperment for that because she is so mellow.
She is a wonderful asset to our family. You really breed a nice Corso Ginger.

Hi Gin! Pictures at last! The life of a dog. Here are King and queen of comfort. They are best of friends. Play all day, sleep on various sofas and beds, walks every night, and now the beach!! Bear dog (aka Tut) had his first beach adventure and had a blast! Stopped at very shell and clam air hole to stop for a quick dig. He thought everything was very big, kept looking up at the sky and out over the ocean.
He is
doing great, 31 lbs at vets last
week. He sits, waits, and walks
well on leash. He is a doll
baby! He says woooof!

I've
looked around at different
breeders web sites and saw their
Corsos, some were nice and some
were ok. I love your Corsos, not
only because you have good dogs
but because you are such a good
person who I respect and who I'm
very happy to
know.
Take
Care and God
Bless!

Well,
Misty Rose is already 16 weeks
old and doing fantastic. I have
had her for about 7 1/2 weeks and
I don't think either one of us
could be happier. She truly is my
baby girl!
I
also have a 10 1/2 year old
Rottweiller named Brutus who also
couldn't be happier with his new
sister. The first two weeks Misty
Rose was here I know Brutus was
waiting for the day Misty left
but now understands she's part of
the family. It is a combination
between Brutus and I that have
and are training
Misty.
I got Misty at 8 1/2 weeks old and after a lot of work by the time she was 10 weeks old we had her potty trained. I used to be a firm believer that dog owners should crate train their pets for at least 1 year but I now believe different because at 14 weeks old Misty goes in her kennel when she wants to and that's the only time. I have yet to come home and have anything chewed up. I think Brutus babysits when I'm gone.
We
also almost have the invisible
boundaries figured out. Misty
knows the boundaries of the
perimeter of the yard but it's
hard when the neighborhood kids
forget and call her
out.
Misty
is the neighborhoods most popular
and favorite dog. All the kids
play with her almost everyday.
I've been told by a couple of the
kid's parents that their kids
don't think about anything after
school until they see Misty. She
has also been accused of being
the cutest puppy quite a few
people have ever
seen!
Well,
I guess I could go on forever so
I will stop now. Can you tell
that I'm proud to be Misty Rose's
dad?

Owner Ever!

Hi
Gin.
River
is VERY loving and friendly to
those he knows. More puppy like
all the time in the house. Only
bigger! He is well mannered,
listens to me, comes when he's
called, stops when I say no,
never pulls on the leash, and
rarely leaves my side off leash
unless I run and make him. He
grumbles like a lion kieen when
he's patted and really at ease.
He looks like a big stuffed
animal, and he almost never has
an accident in the house. I've
never had a puppy that was born
smart and listened to me w/o
months of training. It's
great!

Just
letting you know how Raider is
doing. Raider is in obedience
training now. Raider is a very
smart dog and I will do what ever
it takes. My trainer is very good
at what he does and Raider love
him so it's going
good.

Amalia
is doing great! I have lots of
pictures but I haven't got any of
them on my computer yet. Amalia
can already set and play fetch
but we are still working on the
potty training thing. Sosha and
Amalia are great together. I
think Sosha things of her as her
little sister. She is very
protective of Amalia around other
dogs and loves to play with
her.
